Design to Read workshop at CHI2010 needs you!

Caroline Jarrett asks you to consider participating in the "Design to read" workshop on 10 April 2010 at CHI 2010 in Atlanta, GA.

Caroline writes

We are want to bring together practitioners and researchers who work with audiences who do not read easily, and also people who themselves have encountered difficulties with reading.

We aim to find out more about each others' work, and also to tackle the question of whether one approach to design can work for all of our audiences – or do we need to design differently for different groups? And if so, how?

If you would like to join us, please review the call for participation and then send your position paper to Caroline Jarrett (her mail address is caroline.jarrett at effortmark.co.uk).

CHI's deadline for position papers is 6 January 2010, but we will be happy to receive an expression of interest by 11 January and the actual position paper by 18 January.

You are welcome to contact Caroline directly if you have any questions about the workshop.
