- Vimeo Rolls Out A Totally Rebuilt HTML5-Based Video Player New
- Is the New Vimeo HTML5 Player Accessible?
- Vimeo enhances accessibility from @MediaAccessAUS
- Vimeo speeds its online videos, goes HTML5 by default

For more details, read the Vimeo FAQ for captioning and subtitling.
Unfortunately, an option to add audio description is still not available.
All you technical communicators have been dutifully captioning your YouTube videos all this time, of course. Now you can do the same for your Vimeo videos!
